Let's get one thing out of the way – accountants aren't all spreadsheets, calculators and grey suits.

Well, there are spreadsheets (and I do love a good one), but there's so much more to accountancy than people think.

I've always had a passion for finance and a genuine interest in how businesses work. Watching an idea grow into a successful business fascinated me, and that curiosity naturally pulled me towards a career in accountancy. After many years of rigorous studying, exams and plenty of long nights, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

What I love most about my job isn't the numbers – it's the people behind them.

Every business has a story, a goal and a reason it exists. I enjoy getting to know business owners, understanding their ambitions and helping them make informed financial decisions that support growth. Whether you're just starting out or already established, I believe your accountant should be more than someone who files your tax return once a year. They should be someone you can rely on, ask questions to and trust to help your business move forward.
